In today’s society, the value of formal education from schools, colleges, and universities is often emphasized as the primary path to success. While these institutions provide a structured environment to learn and acquire knowledge, they often impart only a subset of what one needs to truly succeed in life. True success extends far beyond the confines of a degree and is more intricately tied to personal qualities and values.
Integrity: The Foundation of Success
Integrity forms the bedrock of one’s character. It’s the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. In the professional world, integrity earns trust and respect, paving the way for meaningful relationships and opportunities. It’s not just about doing the right thing when someone is watching; it’s about doing the right thing, period.
Vision: The Guiding Light: Having a clear vision gives direction to one’s efforts and decisions. It’s about knowing what you want to achieve and working towards it with purpose and passion. While education can provide knowledge and skills, it’s up to the individual to cultivate a vision that aligns with their aspirations and drives them forward.
Choices: The Power to Shape Your Destiny: Every choice we make, big or small, shapes our journey and contributes to our success. Making informed decisions, taking calculated risks, and learning from mistakes are all part of the process. While academic learning can provide the tools to make informed choices, it’s the individual’s responsibility to use them wisely.
Dream Big and Stay. : PositiveDreaming big ignites passion and fuels ambition. It’s the catalyst that propels individuals to aim higher and strive harder. Alongside dreaming big, maintaining a positive mindset can make all the difference. Positivity not only enhances resilience but also attracts positive outcomes and opportunities.
Respect, kindnessand, and Centeredness: Respect, Kindness, and CenterednessShowing respect towards others, being kind-hearted, and staying centered are qualities that enrich personal relationships and contribute to a harmonious society. These values go beyond academic knowledge and are essential for personal growth and well-being.Showing respect towards others, being kind-hearted, and staying centered are qualities that enrich personal relationships and contribute to a harmonious society. These values go beyond academic knowledge and are essential for personal growth and well-being.
While academic degrees offer valuable knowledge and skills, they represent just a fraction of what is needed to achieve true success. Success is defined by qualities such as integrity, self-discipline, vision, and the choices we make. It’s about dreaming big, showing respect to others, being honest, kind, centered, maintaining self-discipline, and staying positive. By focusing on these qualities and values, individuals can pave their path to success, both personally and professionally.
In life, we encounter individuals whose primary function seems to be spreading unhappiness, disappointment, and criticism. It’s natural to feel upset by their actions, but it’s important not to take it personally. Instead, we should strive to forgive them, recognizing that they too are part of humanity’s journey towards awakeni
These individuals, while challenging, embody the struggles of egoic consciousness. They exist in a state of non-surrender, where negativity and criticism seem to be their default mode of operation. However, it’s crucial to remember that this behavior is not a reflection of who they truly are as individuals.
Rather than being surprised when faced with their negativity, we should learn to accept it as part of life’s ebb and flow. It’s a journey for them as much as it is for us, and they too will learn to evolve and go with the flow over time.
In practicing forgiveness, we grant them the opportunity to grow and change. It’s not about condoning their behavior but rather about freeing ourselves from the burden of resentment and anger. By extending compassion towards them, we release ourselves from the cycle of negativity and allow space for positivity to flourish.
Surrounding ourselves with positive influences is also crucial for maintaining our own well-being. Spending time with people who uplift and support us can help counteract the effects of negativity from others. By cultivating a supportive network, we create an environment where encouragement and positivity thrive.
Understanding and forgiving negative influences in our lives is essential for our own growth and well-being. By recognizing the humanity in those who spread unhappiness and criticism, we can cultivate compassion and create a more positive world for ourselves and others.
It’s important to remember that each individual is on their own journey of self-discovery and growth. While some may be further along the path than others, we all face challenges and obstacles along the way. By acknowledging this shared humanity, we can foster empathy and understanding towards those who may still be struggling with negativity and criticism.
Furthermore, embracing forgiveness doesn’t mean subjecting ourselves to repeated mistreatment or toxicity. Setting healthy boundaries is crucial for maintaining our own mental and emotional well-being. It’s okay to limit our exposure to negative influences and prioritize our own self-care. By honoring our boundaries with compassion and assertiveness, we create space for positive relationships and experiences to flourish in our lives.
In a world filled with clamor and ceaseless distractions, finding a tranquil refuge for the soul becomes imperative. Amidst this tumult, our creator stands as the epitome of patience and attentiveness. Unlike the cacophony of everyday life, there’s no need to raise our voices to be heard by the divine. In the quiet recesses of our hearts, our prayers find resonance, and our deepest longings are understood. The omnipotence of God extends beyond the realm of social media validation; it permeates every fiber of our being, offering solace and understanding in moments of silence.
Rather than succumbing to the pressures of external expectations or societal norms, we’re encouraged to embark on an inward journey of self-discovery. This journey entails silencing the external chatter and turning our gaze inward, where the whispers of our intuition lead us closer to our divine purpose. Through introspection and meditation, we cultivate a sacred space within ourselves, where the voice of God speaks loudest. It’s in this sanctuary of the soul that we find the clarity and guidance needed to navigate life’s intricate tapestry with grace and resilience.
Central to this journey is the recognition of our inherent wisdom and autonomy. While the world may offer countless opinions and perspectives, the ultimate authority resides within us. By trusting in our innate intelligence and discernment, we reclaim our power to make choices aligned with our deepest values and aspirations. In a culture that often prioritizes external validation and conformity, embracing the sovereignty of our hearts becomes an act of profound liberation and self-affirmation.
As we traverse the labyrinth of life, encountering its myriad twists and turns, maintaining a positive outlook becomes paramount. Despite the darkness that may envelop us at times, the light of God’s presence shines unwaveringly, illuminating our path with hope and reassurance. It’s through the lens of optimism and faith that we’re able to discern the hidden blessings concealed within life’s challenges, transforming adversity into opportunity and despair into growth.
In the tapestry of existence, each moment is imbued with divine significance, inviting us to savor the richness of the present. Whether basking in the warmth of a sunlit morning or finding solace in the stillness of twilight, every experience offers a glimpse into the majesty of creation. By embracing the beauty and complexity of life with open hearts and minds, we cultivate a deeper appreciation for the sacredness that permeates every aspect of our existence.
Ultimately, the journey of the soul is a testament to the boundless love and compassion of our creator. In the quiet communion of prayer and reflection, we discover that we are never alone, for God’s presence abides within us always. As we navigate the ebb and flow of life’s currents, let us remember to heed the gentle whisper of our hearts and trust in the guiding hand of divine providence. In the embrace of God’s grace, we find the strength, resilience, and wisdom needed to journey through life’s sacred mysteries with courage and grace.
There will always be someone who criticizes whatever you do, but you will survive knowing that you are doing your best. If you believe you can do better, then go ahead and do it. Nothing is impossibly difficult.
Be sure to choose what is best for you. It’s your life. You live that life. Go for it! It doesn’t matter what people think of you. Ignore the skeptics, the frightened, and the cowards who are afraid to pave a route where none exists.
Let them exist in their own little world. Do not spend excessive time considering what others may think. Whatever you do, you’ll receive criticism. Act accordingly to bring you joy.
They shouldn’t, however, prevent you from discovering your position in the world. Follow your heart’s guidance. Respect other people. You can never satisfy everyone, and that is a fact of life.
Even while some wounds are lifelong and irreversible, they shouldn’t stop you from achieving your goals. Your pain must not affect you. There are many things in life that we cannot understand such as why decent people are always the victims of unfavorable events, how we got ill, why someone told us a lie, and why we hobble. Etc. Refrain from becoming resentful. It will not hurt you. Your scars are there to serve as a constant reminder of God’s mercy and all that He has done to help you; they are not there to disappoint you.
You must make place for new joy and happiness if you want to allow them into your life. How can you be open to anything new if your heart is overflowing with hurt and pain? Allow them to leave so that fresh possibilities, joy, and happiness might blossom. Pay attention to the present moment. Your life is a gift from God to the world. Enjoy and love your life. ?
The idea that we are constantly connected to a higher power—whether we call it God, the Universe, or Divine Energy—is one that has resonated with me throughout my spiritual journey. This belief was brought to life in a rather unexpected, but profound, way just the other day. I had been casually scrolling through YouTube when I came across a video about spirit animals based on your birth month. A simple, fun video—nothing too serious, I thought. As I watched, I learned that for March, my birth month, the spirit animal is a dolphin, a creature often associated with intelligence, joy, and emotional depth. For February, the spirit animal is a hawk, symbolic of vision, awareness, and keen perception.
Little did I know that this seemingly random discovery would manifest in my life in a way I couldn’t have anticipated.
The Encounter with the Hawk
The following morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to start my day. After breakfast, I grabbed my car keys, walked to the garage, and prepared to head out. It was an ordinary morning, nothing unusual. I backed my car out of the garage, started down the block, and then had to stop abruptly.
There, in the middle of the road, stood a hawk. But this wasn’t just any bird—it was a magnificent, powerful creature, standing around 22 to 24 inches tall, with striking features and piercing eyes that seemed to look directly into my soul. What was extraordinary about this encounter wasn’t just the bird’s sheer presence, but the feeling of calm that washed over me. This hawk was completely undisturbed by the car, by my presence. It just stood there, almost as if it were waiting for something—or maybe delivering a message.
I sat there for a moment, our eyes locked. Neither of us moved, and I felt a sense of connection that’s hard to describe. There was no fear, no rush to move. It felt as though time had slowed, and in that moment, there was only the hawk and me. As I took in the situation, I began to quietly recite Ayatul Kursi and the 4 Quls, which I often do in moments that feel spiritually significant. I felt the need to confirm to myself the sacredness of the moment, to affirm that this was no accident, and to ensure the atmosphere remained peaceful and protected.
To my surprise, the hawk didn’t flinch. It wasn’t bothered by the recitations, nor did it seem disturbed by my presence. Instead, it seemed to acknowledge my spiritual practice in its own silent way before spreading its majestic wings and soaring into the sky.
In that moment, I felt a deep sense of peace and connection, a knowing that this wasn’t just a random encounter, but a divine moment of communication.
Spiritual Reflection: Signs from God
This experience led me to reflect on how God communicates with us in everyday life. In my experience, God’s messages don’t always come through words or even thoughts. More often than not, they come through actions, events, visions, and the world around us. We are constantly surrounded by signs if we are willing to open our hearts and minds to see them.
For centuries, mystics, spiritual seekers, and ordinary people alike have believed that God speaks to us in ways that transcend language. From the gentle breeze that calms a troubled soul to the unexpected encounter with a stranger offering exactly the words you needed to hear, divine communication is all around us. Sometimes, it’s as subtle as a whisper, and other times, it’s as bold as a hawk stopping you in the middle of the road.
I believe that this hawk was a sign, a divine nudge to remind me of the need to remain aware, to be watchful, and to trust that God’s guidance is always present. Whether through animals, nature, or events, these signs serve as reminders that we are never truly alone in our journey. God is constantly guiding us, even in ways we might not immediately understand.
The Significance of Spirit Animals
The idea of spirit animals is deeply rooted in various spiritual and cultural traditions around the world. Different animals carry symbolic meanings and are believed to offer guidance, wisdom, and protection to those who encounter them. The hawk, as I learned, is a creature of keen vision and awareness. It represents the ability to see things clearly, both physically and metaphorically. Hawks are often seen as messengers, bridging the earthly and spiritual realms.
In Native American culture, the hawk is considered a powerful symbol of awareness and insight. It encourages us to pay attention to the subtle details in life and to trust in our ability to perceive the truth. In ancient Egyptian mythology, the hawk was associated with the god Horus, who symbolized the sky and protection. In both cases, the hawk is seen as a creature that watches over us and helps us navigate life’s complexities with clarity and purpose.
For me, encountering the hawk wasn’t just about seeing a beautiful bird in the wild. It was about recognizing the deeper meaning behind the encounter. This hawk, with its calm demeanor and sharp gaze, was a reminder to stay vigilant, to remain present, and to trust in the guidance that is always available to us.
Personal Connection: The Power of Ayatul Kursi
When I recited Ayatul Kursi and the 4 Quls, I did so instinctively. In moments of awe or uncertainty, turning to these sacred verses brings me a sense of protection and peace. Ayatul Kursi is known as one of the most powerful verses in the Quran, offering protection from harm and spiritual clarity. Reciting it in the presence of the hawk felt like a way to honor the moment, to verify its sacredness, and to affirm my connection to the divine.
What stood out to me was how the hawk remained unaffected by my recitations. It didn’t fly away or seem disturbed. Instead, it stood there calmly, almost as if it were acknowledging the spiritual nature of the moment. This reinforced my belief that God’s signs are not confined to the spiritual realm—they manifest in the physical world around us, and when we open ourselves up to these moments, we can experience a profound sense of connection and understanding.
Divine Communication: Beyond Words
God’s communication with us goes far beyond language. While we often seek answers through prayer or meditation, the divine responds in countless ways—through dreams, feelings, visions, and even the physical world. Have you ever experienced a moment of clarity or a brilliant insight and wondered if it was true—only to look up at the night sky and, at that exact moment, see a shooting star? These moments are not coincidences. They are divine confirmations, affirmations that we are on the right path.
In many spiritual traditions, the concept of divine communication through nature is well-established. Whether it’s the rustling of leaves in the wind, the appearance of a rainbow after a storm, or the sudden calm that descends in a moment of crisis, these are all ways in which the divine reaches out to us. In Sufism, the spiritual practice I follow, there is a deep reverence for nature and the belief that God’s presence is in everything. Every leaf, every breeze, every bird is a reflection of the divine. When we pay attention, we can hear God’s voice in all of creation.
Personal Growth Through Spiritual Awareness
These signs and moments of divine communication are not just beautiful or awe-inspiring—they are opportunities for personal growth. They remind us to slow down, to be present, and to listen to the subtle guidance that is always available to us. In my encounter with the hawk, I was reminded of the importance of awareness. Life can be chaotic, and it’s easy to get caught up in the noise of everyday existence. But when we take the time to pause, to reflect, and to pay attention to the world around us, we can experience a deeper connection to the divine and to ourselves.
This encounter also reinforced the importance of trust. Trust in the signs, trust in the journey, and trust in God’s plan. It’s easy to question whether these moments are real or just coincidences, but I’ve learned that when something resonates deeply with your soul, it’s worth paying attention to.
Conclusion: Trusting in the Signs
As I reflect on my encounter with the hawk, I am filled with gratitude for the reminder that we are constantly in communication with the divine, even when we don’t realize it. Whether through a hawk’s gaze, a sudden insight, or the peaceful feeling that washes over us during prayer, God’s guidance is always present.
Happiness, enlightenment, and peace are not things you receive from others; they are treasures already waiting within you. This immense power resides in the core of your being. As the poet Rumi once said, “What you seek is seeking you.” True happiness is not an external pursuit but a journey within, a recognition of the profound wellspring of joy that lives inside each of us.
The journey to lasting happiness begins by looking inward. If you attach your joy to external sources—a job, a relationship, an achievement—you’ll find peace is always out of reach, reliant on circumstances beyond your control. Even if you attain those things, new desires or challenges will emerge, leaving true contentment elusive. As the philosopher Epictetus wisely noted, “Happiness and freedom begin with a clear understanding of one principle: Some things are within our control, and some things are not.” Anchoring your happiness in the external only leaves it vulnerable to shifting tides.
True contentment comes from understanding that happiness is, as they say, an inside job. “The only journey is the one within,” said Rainer Maria Rilke, reminding us that fulfillment can only be found by turning our gaze inward. This inward journey is about uncovering the joy that’s not dependent on any other person or circumstance. When you look within, you realize that the love, peace, and happiness you thought you needed to seek were always right there, waiting to be embraced.
Once you connect with this place of inner joy, you’re no longer at the mercy of what’s happening around you. As Viktor Frankl wrote in Man’s Search for Meaning, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” This change is a shift in perspective, a release of the belief that joy is somewhere “out there.” Instead, you begin to embody joy as a state of being, one that endures regardless of outer circumstances. Life’s events may shift, but you remain grounded in the inner peace you’ve cultivated.
Embracing your inner power allows you to experience the world from a new lens. “The universe is not outside of you. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already are,” wrote Rumi, who knew well the wisdom of seeking within. When you live from a place of inner contentment, the world around you transforms. Relationships, work, and everyday moments become sources of appreciation, not because they bring you happiness but because you bring happiness to them. By recognizing the power and beauty within yourself, you radiate a joy that colors all of life, enriching every experience.
The best place to find fullness is in emptiness. When you feel empty, stay on the ground and don’t escape.
Sometimes the emptiness is illustrated as loneliness or not being enough, and many people try to fill the emptiness by being more or busier. But the more you try to fill the void, the larger it appears. Just remember that something infinite has no form and thus appears to be empty or nothing.
You have endless possibilities, and once you can unite with emptiness and nothingness, you won’t just “have” endless possibilities; you’ll actually BE infinite.
