  • The Light That Lasts

    By Choitalyk Ruman

There was once a woman named Emily who lived in a small village. She wasn’t the richest, the loudest, or the most educated person around but she had something rare: a quiet, steady light inside her.

Every morning, Emily would step outside and remind herself, “Be the salt and the light in someone’s life today.” And she lived by that. When she saw an elderly neighbor struggling with groceries, she carried them home. When a child cried because his kite tore, she sat with him and helped mend it. When a friend felt hopeless, Emily listened, not to speak, but to understand.

People often wondered why she did so much when she never asked for anything in return. Emily would simply smile, because she knew something they didn’t:
We are not remembered by our words, but by our deeds.

One day, during a town festival, someone asked her, “Where does your strength come from?” Emily paused and said, “From noticing the light within myself… and allowing it to shine. When you let your inner light glow, your greatness blossoms naturally. And when it does, you can help others see theirs too.”

Years passed, and even long after Emily was gone, people still spoke of the moments she created, moments that took their breath away not because they were grand, but because they were full of kindness.

A repaired kite. A shared meal. A comforting presence. A gentle smile at just the right time.

Her legacy lived not in what she said, but in how she made others feel.

Because life, everyone eventually realized, is not measured by the number of breaths we take… but by the moments when someone’s simple goodness touches our soul.

And Emily’s light, once small and humble, continued to shine through countless hearts—proof that being the salt and the light can transform more lives than we ever imagine.

  • The Story of a Woman Named Tahura

    By Choitalyk Ruman

I have a friend named Tahura. Full name was Tahura Parvin. For as long as I can remember, she had been searching for love. She always believed that somewhere out there was someone who would make her whole, someone who could finally fill the emptiness she often felt inside.

But over time, she began to notice something. Attraction was not love-it could appear quickly and just as quickly fade away. Longing was not love either — it was only temporary. The rush of excitement, the nervous energy, even the sweetest promises — all of these, too, could change or break with time.

After many rises and falls in her life, one evening Tahura had a realization. Love was never outside of her. Love was not a thing to be given or taken, but a quiet field within her, always present. In that field lived joy and sorrow, hope and despair, beginnings and endings. Relationships might stay or dissolve, people might come and go — but the field itself never disappeared.

She understood then: no one had ever “given” her love. In truth, she had only touched her own vastness when she was with another, and then she had mistakenly credited them for it. And when she thought love was gone, it hadn’t actually left — she had simply forgotten the field within. Love, she saw, was like the ocean, unchanged beneath the rise and fall of waves.

Today, Tahura no longer searches for love outside herself. She has learned to live as the light. Instead of clinging to another’s affection, she finds joy in giving love freely. Her greatest discovery has been this: what she longed for all along was already inside her.

With a gentle smile she often says,
“The search begins and ends in the same place — in presence. I realized that I am love itself, and once I knew that, everything changed.

  • Getting in Tune with Your Inner Wisdom: Making Self-Care a Spiritual Journey

Life can be pretty hectic, right? With work, relationships, and all those expectations society throws at us, it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters—our own well-being. But guess what? Deep down, each of us has this awesome inner compass, just waiting to be tapped into. It’s like this built-in guidance system that knows exactly what we need to thrive and grow.

So, let’s talk about self-care. But not just any old self-care where you slap on a face mask and call it a day. Nope, we’re talking about taking self-care to a whole new level—making it a spiritual practice. It’s about getting in touch with that inner wisdom, nurturing ourselves inside and out, and feeling that connection with something bigger than ourselves.Okay, let’s break it down:

Physical Self-Care: This one’s all about treating your body right—eating good stuff, moving it in ways that feel awesome, and giving it the rest it deserves. Yoga, meditation, or just chilling in nature can totally recharge your batteries.

Emotional Self-Care: Time to check in with those feelings. Set some boundaries, express yourself, and don’t be afraid to reach out for support when you need it. Journaling, getting creative, or just being present with your emotions can be super healing.

Mental Self-Care: Keep that brain of yours sharp! Engage in stuff that challenges you, learn new things, and practice positive self-talk. Whether it’s a hobby you love or diving into a good book, keeping your mind active is key.

Spiritual Self-Care: However you connect with the divine—whether it’s through prayer, meditation, or just soaking up the beauty of nature—make time for it. Gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion are all part of the journey, too.

Now, how do we make this self-care stuff feel like a spiritual adventure? Here are some ideas:

    1. Make your daily self-care routines feel.      sacred. Start your day with meditation or end it with some gratitude journaling—whatever floats your boat.

    2. Create a cozy little sanctuary in your home where you can chill out and connect with your inner self.

    3. Be present in the moment. Whether you’re eating, walking, or just shooting the breeze with a friend, be there fully.

    4. Get creative! Express yourself through art, music, or whatever speaks to your soul.

    5. Show yourself some serious love. Treat yourself like you would your bestie—with kindness, understanding, and forgiveness.

    6. Surround yourself with awesome people who get your spiritual vibe and support your journey.

    7. Trust in the universe. Let go of the need to control everything and just go with the flow.

So, here’s the deal: Self-care isn’t just about bubble baths and face masks (although those are great too!). It’s about tapping into that inner wisdom, taking care of yourself on every level, and feeling that connection to something greater. By making self-care a sacred part of your life, you’re not just helping yourself—you’re contributing to the collective awakening of humanity. Now that’s pretty darn awesome, don’t you think?

  • Embracing Life’s Challenges: A Path to Spiritual Growth

Feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges is a universal experience, often leaving individuals feeling defeated and disconnected. However, amidst the turmoil, there lies an opportunity for profound personal growth and spiritual enlightenment. In this article, we explore how to navigate through life’s trials with grace and resilience, ultimately uncovering the transformative power of self-compassion and spiritual awakening.

Ever felt like life is playing a cruel game, leaving you battered and bruised? It’s in these moments of despair that our true resilience is tested, paving the way for spiritual evolution and self-discovery.

    1. Embracing Self-Kindness: Rather than succumbing to self-criticism and despair, it’s crucial to cultivate self-kindness and compassion. By extending the same empathy to ourselves that we offer to others, we create a nurturing environment for growth and healing. Embrace patience and forgiveness, recognizing that imperfection is an inherent part of the human experience.

    2. Surrendering to Divine Timing: In times of adversity, it’s natural to seek immediate solutions and relief. However, true transformation often occurs when we surrender to the flow of life and trust in divine timing. By relinquishing control and embracing faith, we allow space for miracles to unfold and new opportunities to emerge.

    3. Awakening to Spiritual Connection: During our darkest moments, we often experience a profound sense of spiritual connection and alignment with the divine. These moments of intimacy with the universe serve as reminders of our inherent strength and resilience. Through meditation, prayer, or introspective practices, we can deepen our spiritual connection and harness its guiding wisdom.

    4. Cultivating Humility and Love: As we navigate life’s challenges, it’s essential to release the grip of ego and embrace humility. Recognize that true strength lies in vulnerability and authenticity, rather than in the pursuit of power or recognition. By cultivating a heart-centered approach grounded in love, kindness, and respect for others, we transcend the barriers of pride and experience the transformative power of unconditional love.

In the face of adversity, we are presented with a profound opportunity for growth and spiritual evolution. By embracing self-kindness, surrendering to divine timing, awakening to spiritual connection, and cultivating humility and love, we embark on a journey of profound transformation and self-discovery. Remember, it is through life’s challenges that we uncover our true strength and resilience, ultimately leading us closer to the divine essence within.

  • You Are a Beautiful Light for Yourself and Others

Did you know that you are a shining light for other people? Yes, you inspire and uplift them in ways you might not even realize! But there’s something important to remember: You are also a light for yourself. Just like a lamp brightens a room, your inner light can brighten your own life.

Sometimes, our thoughts and feelings feel a little messy or out of place. This is called “being out of alignment.” It means that our mind, heart, and actions aren’t working together in harmony. Maybe you’ve felt this before—like something just isn’t right, or you’re not fully happy with how things are going.

But here’s the amazing part: At some point, almost like magic, something inside us changes. We start to realize that staying out of alignment isn’t helping us anymore. We feel deep down that it’s time to get our mind, heart, and actions back in sync. When this happens, we suddenly feel more motivated! It’s like a switch flips on, and we start moving towards what makes us truly happy.

This change happens because we slowly learn to value our true selves more than the person we think we “should” be. Often, we imagine that we have to be perfect or act in certain ways just to make others happy or to fit in. But as we grow and learn more about ourselves, we realize that being ourselves is much more important. We don’t need to chase after a fantasy of being perfect or “ideal”—we just need to be who we truly are.

This new understanding, or change in consciousness, helps us see where we are being inconsistent. Maybe we act one way around our friends and another way around our family, and it doesn’t feel good. Or maybe we tell ourselves we should be more confident, but deep down, we’re still struggling with self-doubt. Recognizing these inconsistencies is not a bad thing. In fact, it’s a great step toward real growth! It’s not about being perfect—it’s about seeing the truth of who we are in different situations and learning from that.

As we start to accept our true selves, we let go of the idea that we have to be something else. We realize that it’s okay to be a work in progress. Just like a plant grows slowly over time, we grow little by little. And guess what? That’s perfectly fine. It’s more important to be honest about where we are than to try to rush toward an image of perfection that doesn’t really exist.

Being in alignment with ourselves means we start to live with more kindness and understanding—not only for others but for ourselves. We begin to notice when we are being too hard on ourselves or expecting too much. It’s like learning to be our own best friend. When we give ourselves the space to grow and make mistakes, we can shine even brighter.

So, remember, you are a light not just for others but for yourself too. And as you grow and change, keep in mind that your true self is enough. You don’t need to be perfect, and you don’t need to chase someone else’s idea of who you “should” be. Just be you—because that’s where your real light comes from.
