  • The Quiet Beauty of Ordinary weekend.

    By Choitalyk Ruman

This morning, I woke to a soft golden light spilling through my window. When I pulled the curtain aside, the world outside seemed wrapped in quiet beauty the maple leaves had turned deep red, some shimmering like pure gold. The berries along the fence glowed crimson, a small feast waiting for the birds before winter arrives.

It felt like the earth was preparing gathering, giving, and gracefully letting go. I stood there for a while, just breathing it in. No rush, no noise, just the stillness of a Saturday morning reminding me how time moves not with thunder, but with whispers.

You don’t notice the days passing until you pause like this until you realize the moments that once felt ordinary were actually the heartbeats of your life. Breakfasts shared with family. Laughter echoing down the hall. The quiet walks after dinner when the world feels softer.

One day, those little things become the ones we ache to return to not the milestones, not the grand successes, but the simple, everyday pieces of love stitched into our routine.

The sunlight touching your kitchen table. The sound of someone you love laughing in another room. The hugs that linger for just a second longer.

These are the treasures we carry , not in photographs or timelines, but in our hearts. They stay there, glowing quietly, reminding us that life’s beauty is never in the rush, it’s in the noticing.

So, take a breath. Look around. Feel the warmth of the sun, the song of the wind, the kindness in someone’s smile.

Because even this moment ,this ordinary, golden Saturday , is already becoming a memory.

  • Every Moment Becomes a Memory

    By Choitalyk Ruman

This morning I woke to quiet light,
curtains parting on a golden sight
maple leaves blushing red and gold,
    autumn’s beauty, gentle and bold.

    Berries gleamed along the lane,
a feast for birds before the rain.
The world was calm, yet softly alive,
    whispering, “even stillness can thrive.”

    Time moves quietly, never loud,
like sunlight slipping through a cloud.
You don’t see it leave, not right away
until the moments start to fade.

    Breakfast laughter, a porch-side smile,
    footsteps echoing for a while.
The simple things, we let them pass,
not knowing they’re the ones that last.

The warmth of tea, the evening breeze,
a hug that lingers, small mercies of ease.
Each breath, each glance, each tender sound
these are the jewels life scatters around.

So slow your heart, and softly see,
    how beautiful ordinary can be.
Because even now, this golden day
    is quietly, gently slipping away.

And one day, when winter fills the sky,
you’ll close your eyes and realize why
the smallest moments, kind and true,
became the memories that carry you.

  • When Life Feels Heavy, Gratitude Brings the Light Bac

    By Choitalyk Ruman

For a long time, I used to think gratitude simply meant saying thank you. Someone helps you , you thank them. Something good happens , you express appreciation. Simple.

But life, in its quiet and often difficult way, taught me something deeper: gratitude isn’t just a polite response. It’s a way of seeing. A way of living.

We all go through days that feel impossibly heavy , when the air itself feels thick, and even ordinary tasks take too much energy. You wake up, sip your coffee, stare at the same walls, and wonder, “When will this feeling pass?”

Have you ever had one of those mornings ; when nothing feels right, when even the light outside seems dull?

I remember one of those times vividly. Everything in my life seemed to crumble at once ; plans failed, relationships shifted, and I couldn’t see any way forward. I was just… surviving.

One morning, I heard a bird singing outside my window. Nothing special, it was a sound I’d heard a thousand times before. But that day, it stopped me. It felt like a tiny reminder whispering, “Not everything is broken.”

And that’s when I began to understand:
Gratitude isn’t about ignoring the hard things. It’s about recognizing the light that still exists , even when the world feels dim.

When we start noticing the small things ;the warm cup of tea in our hands, a message from a friend, the sound of laughter nearby , something shifts inside us. The sharp edges of pain begin to soften. The world doesn’t change, but our eyes do.

Gratitude doesn’t mean pretending life is perfect. It means realizing that even in imperfection, there is beauty. Even when something ends, something else quietly begins.

Some days, gratitude is just a whisper:
    “I’m still here.”
“I still have something to hold onto.”

And that whisper is enough to keep us moving forward.

    So, take a moment today.
    Pause. Look around.
Maybe your reason to smile is already right there , in the morning light, in the smell of fresh rain, or in someone’s gentle presence.

    Beauty never truly disappears.
It just waits , patiently , for us to notice it again.

What are three things you feel grateful for today?

    1. When was the last time a small moment changed your mood completely?
    2. Has gratitude ever helped you see something painful in a new light?

Share your thoughts in the coments, your story might be the light someone else needs today..

  • The Power of Authenticity: Seeing the World Through Honest Eyes

    By ChoitalykRuman May 19, 2024

In a world filled with curated social media feeds, filtered selfies, and superficial interactions, finding a space for authenticity can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. Yet, the most profound transformation happens when we decide to be honest and sincere with ourselves. This commitment to authenticity not only reshapes our inner world but also revolutionizes the way we perceive others.

When you are truly honest with yourself, you begin to see everything as it is. The layers of illusion and pretense that often cloud your vision start to peel away. This clarity comes from a deep self-awareness and acceptance of your true self, with all its imperfections and strengths. You no longer feel the need to project a facade or fit into a mold created by societal expectations. Instead, you embrace your uniqueness and allow your true self to shine.

This internal shift profoundly impacts how you see others. Rather than viewing them through the lens of your desires, expectations, or biases, you start to see them for who they truly are. This perspective fosters genuine connections and deepens your relationships. It allows for empathy, as you understand that everyone is on their own journey, battling their own struggles, and celebrating their own victories.

Being yourself is a revolutionary act in a world that often encourages conformity. It requires courage to stand by your values and beliefs, even when they go against the grain. But this courage is rewarded with a sense of freedom and peace. You are no longer burdened by the need to impress or please others. Instead, you live a life that is true to your essence, and this authenticity radiates outward, influencing those around you.

Living authentically doesn’t mean you have it all figured out or that you are perfect. It means you are willing to confront your flaws, learn from your mistakes, and grow continuously. It means you accept yourself fully and extend the same acceptance to others. This openness creates a ripple effect, encouraging others to also embrace their true selves.

The journey towards authenticity is ongoing and ever-evolving. It requires introspection, self-compassion, and a commitment to personal growth. But the rewards are immeasurable. You gain a clearer sense of purpose, stronger relationships, and a more profound understanding of the world around you.

So, take a moment to reflect on your own life. Are you being honest and sincere with yourself? Are you seeing the world and the people in it as they truly are, or through the distorted lens of expectations and desires? Challenge yourself to peel away the layers of pretense and embrace the power of authenticity. When you are true to yourself, you not only transform your own life but also inspire others to do the same. Be yourself. There’s no one else who can do it better.
